   袁隆平,中国杂交水稻育种专家，是中国研究与发展杂交水稻的开创者，有“世界杂交水稻之父”的美称。于2000年度获得国家最高科技学技术奖，袁隆平的对杂交水稻的发明对人类的生存具有重大意义。
